U.S. Contract Model 1861 Percussion Rifle mfg. by William Mason, Taunton, Massachusetts, Robinson, .58 caliber, 40" round barrel, ram rod, fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight, three barrel bands, the lockplate marked "an eagle over U.S., Wm Mason, Taunton" and behind the hammer "1863", stock stamped "52" in front of butt plate tang, wood with expected scars and scratches, stock intact with repaired crack, hammer spring does not hold, brown-silver tone metal, bore smooth without rust Start Price: $150.00
