Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, Third Model, mfg.1887, .44-40 caliber, 20" barrel with two barrel bands, tubular magazine, fixed front sight, rear sight lacks elevation adjuster, barrel marked at top on two lines "Winchester's-Repeating-Arms New Haven Ct, King's Improvement-Patent-March 29, 1866, October 16, 1860," lacks breech dust cover, upper tang with model name, lower tang with serial number, saddle ring at left frame, hardwood stock, iron butt plate with port, metal dark brown with scarring at breech end, wood is weathered with some scratching, action good and strong, bore dark with visible rifling, caliber markings not present, SN 250576B Start Price: $400.00
