Since its inception, our gallery has conducted more than 5,000 auctions for state and federal institutions, business liquidations, foreclosures, and hundreds of estates for family members, executors and trustees. Ross Featherston
President and Lead Auctioneer
Ross is the president and co-founder of Austin Auction Gallery. Prior to becoming a full time auctioneer Ross spent his early years in commercial banking. His love of antiques and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to his life's work Austin Auction Gallery. As the lead auctioneer Ross has conducted over 5,000 auctions since 1983.
Paula Featherston
Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
Paula is Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of Austin Auction Gallery. Paula is a hands on manager so beyond managing the finances she plays an integral role in the set up and display of each auction.
Chris Featherston
Senior Vice-President, Product Acquisition, Auctioneer
Chris Featherston has worked with Austin Auction Gallery since 1990. After graduating with an MBA he came to work at Austin Auction with a goal of expanding the sources of auction goods to include countries around the globe. In the pursuit of that goal Chris traveled extensively to Europe, South America, and even Egypt absorbing a vast array of knowledge about antiques and collectibles. Today Chris is also a lead auctioneer and the main point of contact for potential consignors.
Roland Maldonado
Warehouse Manager, Logistic Supervisor
Roland holds the title of warehouse manager but he is so much more. After graduating from The University of Texas he joined Austin Auction.Here at Austin Auction Roland's duties include everything from receiving merchandise and managing its storage to the beautiful auction set-up that Austin Auction is known for. Roland also manages our phone bidding on auction
Victoria Livingston
Catalog Department Manager, Auctioneer, Auction Specialist
Victoria leads Austin Auction Gallery's catalog and decorative arts department. She has been involved in all aspects of the auction industry for over 30 years as an auctioneer and cataloger, working at major galleries in both California and Texas. She is an avid runner and spends her free time training for marathons and ultra marathons.
Noah Featherston
Marketing and Information Technology
Noah handles Austin Auction's IT needs as well as social media and email marketing.
Stern Hatcher
Front Office Lead, Photographer & Photo Editor
Stern Hatcher is an artist, instructor, pet-reader, gallery owner, and photographer. He has two art degrees, one from Texas Lutheran University and his masters from The University of Texas Dallas.
Kat Hamilton
Luxury Goods, Decorative Arts & Furniture Cataloger
Kat is Assistant Manager to the Catalog Department and works in the front office during auction weekends. She has a BSA in Mathematics, a BA in Art History, and a Master of Science in Information Studies degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She is passionate about learning new things and loves uncovering the unique stories behind the fine art, furniture and antiques we encounter at AAG.
Kendall Hanner
Furniture, Fine Art & Decorative Arts Cataloger
Kendall earned her BA in History with minors in Art History and Anthropology at Texas Tech University before relocating to Washington, DC for graduate school. Here, she completed her MA in Art History at The George Washington University, where she had a concentration in manuscripts, portable art, textiles and philosophy of the medieval era. Kendall has prior auction experience with Asian Arts, particularly with imperial Chinese textiles, painting, and ceramics. Her favorite thing is her rescue cat, Prairie, who she found living with prairie dogs in a Lubbock park.
Mike Hall
Auctioneer, Photographer-Firearms, Furniture & Decorative Arts
Mike is an auctioneer as well as the lead furniture and firearm photographer at AAG. Mike first became passionate about photography 5 years ago as we wanted to capture the beauty of nature in a way that his iPhone simply could not. Specializing in landscape photography, you can catch him out on one of the many nature trails in Austin, or fishing on his kayak at any of the local lakes.
Joel Evans
Photographer- Furniture & Decorative Arts
Joel Evans is the lead photographer of jewelry and decorative arts at AAG. He became passionate about photography while pursuing his Art Degree from the University of Texas. In addition to the controlled environment of product photography, Joel prefers shooting the urban landscape at night.
Bryan Roschetzky
Photographer
Bryan is a self made travel and drone photographer. Owner of the professional brand Roschetzky Photography that specializes in high-impact visuals of landscapes, adventures , and innovative subjects. Originally from Corpus Christi, TX his photography has evolved into a nationwide brand from fine-arts to top stock imagery with Getty Images to cutting-edge drone captures. Father of two amazing children and enjoys ski trips, mountaineering, and spending time with his family.
Lisa Renee Guerrero
Cataloger
Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Lisa is a cataloger and photo editor for AAG. She holds a B.A. in History from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio and a M.A. in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco. Her hobbies include crafting, singing, and going through books. Through the subjects she reads about and the education she receives from AAG, she’s always learning something new to incorporate in her life.
Jake Yeager
Cataloger
Jake is a lifelong Austinite who earned his BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin and his MA in History from Boston College. Jake's area of interest includes militaria and antique firearms, both of which he collects in his free time. Other favorite activities include fishing, hiking, and gaming.
Cat Everett
Cataloger
Cat (with a C!) moved to Austin 10 years ago after finishing her BA in Art History and Studio Art. She then earned her MA in Art History at UT Austin, focusing on European early modern art. She returned to complete UT's Masters of Science in Information Studies program, deciding to pursue a more hands-on role in special collections. There she discovered a passion for early (15th-17th c.) printed texts and illustrations. She likes to make art, cook, watch horror movies, and coerce her cat and dog to love each other.
