Whitney-Kennedy Lever Action Repeating Sporting Rifle, c.1883, with early "S" form lever, 28" octagonal barrel over the tubular magazine, the barrel marked at the top on one line "Whitneyville Armory Ct. USA Kennedy" (some hard to read), fixed nickel front sight, adjustable rear sight, marked behind rear sight "44 CAL," right receiver with 1.25" loading aperture, a series of numbers at upper barrel tang representing patent dates, lower tang with SN D968, curved butt plate with port, wood with scars and scratches, metal dark, action good, bore semi-bright with good rifling, for shipping: approx 46.25"l, 9.25lbs Start Price: $600.00
