U.S. Springfield Model 1863 Rifle Musket, Type 1, .59 caliber, 40" barrel, fixed front sight, ram rod, three barrel bands with "U" inspection mark, adjustable two leaf rear sight, the bolster above the lockplate with an eagle, the lock plate with an "eagle, U.S. Springfield and 1864" behind the hammer, the left side of the barrel, two inspection markings on left stock above trigger, one in an oval, one in a rectangle, "A" inspection mark in front of trigger guard, U.S. marked butt plate with port, metal mostly silver tone with scars and scratches, action good, bore with rifling, approx 56"l, 9.25lbs Start Price: $300.00
