(lot of 2) U.S. Bolo Knives: (1) Model 1902 Hospital Corps Bolo Knife & Scabbard, the shaped 12"l blade marked at the left ricasso "S.A. (Springfield Arsenal) over an ordnance bomb over 1912", the right ricasso marked "US over 29127", an "S" form brass guard, the wood three pin handle with four finger grips, knife only overall 17.25"l housed in black leather and steel scabbard retaining belt loop and  marked "Rock Island Arsenal, 1911, H.B.K.", blade with a few nicks, black and silver tone, overall approx. 17.75"l, 4.5"w; (1) Model 1909 Bolo Knife and Scabbard, the 14" blade marked on the right ricasso "U.S. over 55900", the left ricasso marked "Plumb.., Phila. ordnance bomb, 1917" (Fayette R. Plumb Co.), steel guard with lock hole for scabbard pin, curving hardwood three pin handle, knife overall approx.19,5"l, housed in a Type 3 brown leather sheath with blued brass throat, eyelet at tip and belt loop, blade very good without nicks, sheath rubs on one side, knife overall with sheath approx. 20"l, for shipping total of both 5.60lbs    Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
