Remington-Beals Navy Model Revolver, single action, percussion, .36 caliber, the reduced length 6.25" octagonal barrel marked at the top on two lines "Beals Patent Sept. 14, 1858, Manufactured by Remingtons' Ilion, N.Y.", with the second line difficult to read, blade front sight, grooved top strap rear sight, six round cylinder held by the T arbor pin, brass trigger guard with "P" inspection mark, walnut grips, metal is silver gray with light scratching, bore is semi bright with good rifling and likely light pitting, the barrel length reduction appears as professionally well done, a groove is visible where the blade front sight was installed, SN 469 appears under left grip 469, the number 9 is visible at the underside barrel flat, no number visible at trigger guard tab Start Price: $400.00
