Remington New Model Army Revolver, .44 caliber, 8" octagonal barrel with blade front sight, the barrel top marked on three lines with some letters not strong "Patented Sept 14,1858, E. Remington & Sons, Ilion New York U.S. A. , New Model", loading lever operates correctly, six round cylinder numbered 6182 at back, inspection mark "P" on brass trigger guard, wood grips intact with glued cracks, bore with pitting semi bright, good rifling, metal silver gray with black spots, action strong and correct, serial number matched at barrel underside, butt below left grip and rear trigger guard tang visible when removed from frame, SN 26182 Start Price: $500
