Remington New Model Army Revolver, .44 caliber, 8" octagonal barrel with cone front sight, the barrel top marked on two lines "Patented Dec. 17,1862, Manufactured By Remingtons' Ilion NY", loading lever operates correctly, inspection mark "J" on brass trigger guard, wood grips with faint oval inspectors mark on left grip below screw, inspection marks "M" and "R" under left grip at butt, metal is brown with silver tone spots, action strong and correct, bore is semi-bright with rifling and pitting, serial number matched at barrel underside, butt below left grip and rear trigger guard tang visible when removed from frame, SN 13422 Start Price: $500.00
