Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver, mfg. 1862, .44 caliber, 8" round barrel, blade front sight, the barrel top marked "-Address Col. Saml Colt New-York U.S. America-," six round cylinder no longer retaining partial Naval battle scene, lower left frame marked on two lines "Colts Patent," serial number matched at barrel lug, frame, brass trigger guard and butt, and cylinder, inspection mark "R" on trigger guard back strap, inspection mark "C" on both sides of barrel near cylinder, marked "C C" on cylinder, "S" inspection mark on barrel below loading lever, bore semi bright with some possible surface rust between lands, rifling is good, loading lever operates correctly, metal is silver tone with some light scratches, left wood grip with small repaired crack, action is good and strong, SN 81894 Start Price: $600.00
