U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock pistol, Robert Johnson, Middleton, Connecticut, mfg. 1838, .54 caliber, 7.5" barrel, swivel steel ramrod, blade front sight, oval rear sight on barrel tang, the lock plate marked on four lines "U.S., R. Johnson, Middn Conn, 1838," the barrel marked at top in front of the rear sight on three lines "U.S. JH, P" (James Harris, U.S. Sub-Inspector), walnut stock with worn inspection marking at left above trigger including one in oval, metal silver tone with light rust spots, wood with light scratching, action operates correctly and sparks the now installed flint, bore with surface rust, overall measures approx 14" x 6.25" x 2.25", 2.75lbs Start Price: $300.00
