(lot of 2) Spanish Colonial folk art "santos de palo" religious saint figures, late 19th/ early 20th c., carved wood with gesso and polychrome paint, including: (1) Saint Lucia (Lucy), wearing a hooded cloak and wielding a large sword, approx 10.75"h, 5.5"w, 2.25"d; (1) Saint Jude of Thaddeus, clothed in green mantle over a blue tunic, rising on platform base, approx 11"h, 6.5"w, 2.75"d; 2lbs total Provenance: the Stanley Family's fine Tarrytown Estate PLEASE NOTE: Folk art pieces are inherently fragile.
