(lot of 2) Custom-upholstered throw pillows, fashioned with fragments of fine 18th/ 19th c. woven tapestries, depicting flowers, foliates, and ribbon motifs, with metallic brocade trim, tan silk backing, with down-filled insert, approx 19.5"l, 19.5"w, 7"d, 8.75lbs total Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. Though we do not currently observe any major tears or losses, most are likely to have some staining, missing trim, and evidence of wear. Please assume that they are not in perfect condition and bid accordingly. Per our terms, there will be no condition reports and no refunds based on condition
