Custom-upholstered throw pillow, fashioned from fine 18th/ 19th c. liturgical vestments, with padded goldwork embroidery executed in gold and silver metal threads, depicting the "IHS" Christogram with red velvet crown, framed by sequined rays of light, brocade ribbon trim in the form of a cross, with ivory silk backing, down-filled insert, approx 23"l, 23"w, 10"d, 6lbs Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V.
