Bronze sculpture on branite, Admiral of the Fleet John David Elliot Fieldhouse, Baron ,Fieldhouse (Leeds, England, 1928-1992), a participant in WWII, Aden and the Falkland Islands War, his service included serving as a sub-Lieutenant of submarines in 1947 and in 1975 as Flag Officer of Submarines including the NATO commander of Eastern Atlantic submarines, the sculpture marked 5 of 6, dated '93 and signed Tweed (Jill Tweed, British, b. 1931), includes the foundry mark of Red Bed Bronze Studio, London, for shipping bronze approx.13"h, 10.75"w, 6"d, base 1.5"h, 6.5"w, 6.5", total of all 20.45lbs See the Falkland Gardens, Gosport, Hampshire display online at https://artuk.org/discover/artworks/admiral-sir-john-fieldhouse-19281992-310443
