(lot of 56) French small-format library shelf books, various literature, religious and history subjects, ranging in size from octavo to macrominiature format, all with gilt-embossed leather binding, many with marbleized covers and raised spine bands, highlights include: (6) "Paroissien Romain (Roman Parish Books)," various publishers, (five) with gilt page ends; (4) "Voyage du Jeune Anacharsis en Grece (Journey of the Young Anacharsis in Greece)," by Abbe Barthelemy, published by Grimprelle, Paris, 1830, volumes I-VIII; (3) "Oeuvres Completes de Vauvenargues (Complete Works of Vauvenargues)," published by J.L.J.
