Southwest Spanish Colonial style pine stool, attributed to Maximo "Max" Luna (1896-1964) for the Harwood Foundation in Taos, New Mexico, c.1930s, having circular top, rising on squared and stretcher-joined supports, with mortise and tenon and pegged joinery, chip-carved linework, approx 27.25"h, 13"diam Provenance: Commissioned in the 1930s to furnish Datcha Ranch in Kerrville, Texas.
