(lot of 10) Southwest Spanish Colonial style pine side chairs, attributed to Maximo "Max" Luna (1896-1964) for the Harwood Foundation in Taos, New Mexico, c.1930s, mortise and tenon and pegged joinery, stepped finials, carved two-rung ladder back, padded seat covered in faux leather, on stretcher-joined supports, approx 35"h, 16.5"w, 18"d, seat height: 18"h Provenance: Commissioned in the 1930s to furnish Datcha Ranch in Kerrville, Texas.
