(pair) Southwest Spanish Colonial style pine lounge chairs, attributed to Maximo "Max" Luna (1896-1964) for the Harwood Foundation in Taos, New Mexico, c.1930s, mortise and tenon joinery, stepped finials, slatted back and sides, loose back and seat cushions, rawhide webbing below the seat, carved front stretcher, slightly varied in size, largest: approx 36.5"h, 32"w, 39"d, seat height: 14"h Provenance: Commissioned in the 1930s to furnish Datcha Ranch in Kerrville, Texas.
