French Napoleon III period marquetry-inlaid rosewood portico clock, late 19th c., having scalloped crest, over white enameled dial with partially obliterated mark, Roman numeral hour markers, unmarked time-and-strike movement, flanked by columnar supports, rising on stepped platform, housed in glass dome/ cloche, further raised on ebonized base, accompanied by pendulum with double "RA" monogram, observed operating, starts and stops, clock: approx 17.5"h, 8.75"w, 5"d, overall in cloche: approx 22.75"h, 11"w, 7.25"d, 9.25lbs
