French Rococo style parcel gilt faience clock on stand, in the manner of Veuve Perrin, Marseille, late 19th c., with polychrome foliates and floral motifs, reserves depicting courting couples and young ladies in verdant landscapes, spurious mark VP (conjoined) underfoot, comprising: (1) clock, shaped case surmounted by seated cherub with shield, centering white enameled dial, with Arabic hour markers, unmarked time-only movement, rising on conforming stand with scrolled feet, not currently operational, restoration where cherub's head meets shield, clock: approx 14"h, 7.25"w, 5.5"d, stand: approx 3.25"h, 9"w, 6"d, overall: approx 17.25"h, 7lbs total Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
