U.S. Army C. 1900 Uniform Coat & Accoutrements

U.S. Army Uniform Coat having a traditional Army green blanket held by leather straps, crossed black leather shoulder straps secure a M1878 canteen with the cover marked "U.S." and R.I.A. 1907 (Rock Island Arsenal), the canteen retains the metal and cork stopper with chain, the opposite side of the coat on a leather strap is a marked "U.S." haversack with infantry crossed rifles, the belt with hooks attaching to the haversack rings, at the waist a Mills  45 cartridge loop belt with H form "U.S." marked buckle having the last patent date "Feb 1, 1881", the belt also holding a "U.S." marked holster marked at the back side "Rock Island Arsenal, 1904, HEK", the coat with six buttons at front and three buttons at each sleeve, the lined interior with two interior pockets, the right pocket with the label of "Browning, King & Co., Uniform Department", overall the coat and lining in very good condition, presently displayed on a mannequin, coat measures approx. shoulder to shoulder 17.75", shoulder to sleeve hem 24", shoulder to coat hem 26"    Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
