(lot of 3) Military Hats: (1) U.S. Pattern 1889 hat with the crossed sword insignia of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, I Company, a yellow cavalry cord and  "snowflake" vents at each side,  the interior lacks sweat band but has maker tag of "G.W. Alexander & Co. Inc., Reading, Pa., Size 7 and "344" stamp;  (1) U.S. Pattern 1911 Campaign hat, the hat ribbon and bow at left, now with a yellow Cavalry hat cord, the leather sweat band marked "7.1/8" and tagged behind the band with size and hand written name "Drake"; (1) U.S. M1895 Forage Cap having the insignia of the 8th New York Infantry Regiment, Company H, the chin strap with brass buckle and affixed with two buttons depicting an eagle above a shield over the New York State motto "Excelsior", the interior liner with the logo of Knickerbocker Company, New York", the sweat band stamped at the inside partially reading "Ins...1902 N.Q.N.Y.", the underside of the brim stamped "6.3/4" and "94", the hat with several moth holes, outer brim is mottled, sweat band is loose, for shipping largest approx. measure 13.75" x 12.75" x 6", total of all .95lbs    Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
