U.S. Army Spike Helmet parts: (4) helmet front plates displaying the Great Seal of the United States with the Eagle, Shield and E Pluribus Unum banner, two screw back, two pin back, two are infantry, one is cavalry, one is 1881 silver finish quartermaster; (4) cavalry plumes, each retaining a label reading "Edward Eicke, Contract of Feb. 10th 1902, New York", one label with apparent inspector markings; (3) spikes; (1) torch form plume holder; (5) plume/spike bases for exterior helmet top; (1) cavalry chinstrap with crossed swords buttons, for shipping largest items 14" x 4", total of all 1.75lbs Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
