(lot) U.S. WWI & WWII Tools, Equipment Packs: (1) U.S. Model 1910 WWI era infantry entrenching tool, the well used shovel with surface rust, the wood T handle and shaft is unpainted, there are wood wedges at both sides of the shovel handle where it joins the steel shovel, "U.S." is stamped into the steel and on the wood, no makers mark, housed in "U.S." marked pouch inserted into the back pack, a lower M1928 pouch holds the Meat Can, steel pan, knife, fork, and spoon, all items secured to the haversack, overall when worn as a backpack approx. 36"l, 10"w, 5"h; (1) Army Pickaxe, steel with wood handle,  housed in a canvas pouch with belt hooks marked "R.I.A., 1918" (Rock Island Arsenal",  in pouch approx. 17.5"h, 3.5"w; (1) Wire Cutter, WWII Era, marked on one rubber covered handle "Kal-BC-17", housed in a canvas pouch with belt hooks and marked "Lee, 1944" approx. 11"l including pouch, for shipping overall approx. 9.05lbs    Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
