(2) WWI Equipment Packs & Mess Kits. one marked "R.I.A 1918" (Rock Island Arsenal), the other marked "P.B. & Co., 1918, 1791" (Plant Brothers & Co.), each with an aluminum Meat Can and marked U.S. at steel handle, one appears to be M1910, the other M1918, for shipping  each approx. 11" x 9" x 5", total of both 6.05lbs     Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
