Riding Boots, WWI, WW2, WWI Era: (1) pair WWI era cavalry boots, partial lace up at ankle, partial lace up at top, approx. 17.25"h, heel to toe 12.1/8", boots have no apparent maker mark, mounted Model 1911 spurs; (1) pair WWII paratrooper lave up boots mfg. by Corcoran Shoe Co, Stoughton, Mass, brown leather, approx.11"h, 12.1.8" heel to toe, marked "D" at underside; (1) lace up brown leather riding boots, small size, possibly ladies, the heel marked "Shelby Friedman, St. Louis", a shoe mfg. company operating under that name till c. 1910, approx. 14.5"h, 10.25" heel to toe, for shipping total of all 12lbs Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
