(lot of 5) Japanese fabric fragments, varied materials and patterns, including: (1) indigo blue cotton, with central plum blossom kamon crest, hemmed edges, small hole near edge, approx 41"sq; (1) green cotton, with foliate kamon crest, originally three individual strips, now stitched together, hemmed edges, light fading and staining, approx 43"sq; (1) fukuro obi tsubugi silk sash, pattern comprised of warm toned waves, one end weighted with wood plank nailed to interior, approx 174"l, 12.5"w; (2) ikat tsumugi woven silk ongee, (one) fabric sample, retaining composition label, approx 14.5"h, 14"w, (one) fabric bolt, not examined fully unrolled, approx 15"l, 2.5"diam; 4.25lbs total Provenance: Fred Nevill Antiques, one of Houston Texas' foremost antiques stores PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning.
