(lot of 4) Japanese fabric yukata and komon kimonos, each made of patterned silks, likely tsumugi/ silk pongee, varied sizes and fabrics, including: (1) dark green shippo tsunagi pattern, interior lined in white and tan silks; (1) tri-color stripes with chrysanthemum blossoms, beige and dark magenta silk lining; (1) colorblocked primary and neutral colors; (1) black silk with embroidered pagoda motif, the interior lined in a fine silk with woven depiction of children at play; largest: shoulder seam: approx 21"w; sleeve: 17.5"l, 12.5"w; collar to hem: 60"l; 6.5lbs total Provenance: Fred Nevill Antiques, one of Houston Texas' foremost antiques stores PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. Though we do not currently observe any major tears or losses, most are likely to have some staining, missing trim, and evidence of wear.
