(lot of 4) Japanese fabric yukata and komon kimonos, varied materials and sizes, including: (1) white linen with abstract striping, the interior unlined; (1) beige ground with fine line plaid and stylized calligraphy, likely tsumugi/ silk pongee, interior lined in white and pink silks; (1) cream silk with floral spray, tag marked "Made in Japan, 100% silk"; (1) red ground with karahana and hanabishi floral grid pattern, white and green silk-lined interior, retaining retail label with dimensions marked Kanaiya; largest: shoulder seam: approx 20.5"w; sleeve: 18"l, 13"w; collar to hem: 60.5"l; 5.25lbs total Provenance: Fred Nevill Antiques, one of Houston Texas' foremost antiques stores PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. Though we do not currently observe any major tears or losses, most are likely to have some staining, missing trim, and evidence of wear.
