Italian carved wood architectural element, 19th c., now fashioned as a single-light table lamp, modeled as a putto mask, above arched scroll, with remnants of gold leaf and gesso, rising on a later black platform base, with tubular metal standard issuing single light, observed operating, harp lacking finial, carving: approx 16.5"h, 7.5"w, 3"d, overall: approx 31"h, 11"w, 7"d, 6.25lbs Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas
