(pair) Continental ecclesiastical altar decorations, 19th c., now fashioned as candle prickets, each having wood frame with silver-tone metal repousse cladding, later turned pricket, above vasiform standard with scrollwork and ribbon motifs, encasing flat mirror plate, rising on shaped base, heavy silver loss to mirror plates, approx 23.5"h, 19.5"w, 5.75"d, 4.5lbs total Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas
