French Louis XVI style alabaster mantel clock, late 19th c., having gilt metal crest with two songbirds flanking nest, painted dial with Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked Japy Freres, retailer's mark V.R. Breveti, Paris, rising on scrolled supports and shaped plinth, with central painted roundel and dual lion mask mounts, on turned feet, further raised on giltwood platform, accompanied by pendulum and key, pendulum possibly an incorrect weight, currently operational but in need of adjustment, clock: approx 17"h, 14"w, 6"d, overall: approx 18.5"h, 17.5"w, 6"d, 17.75lbs
