Monumental French patinated and gilt bronze mantel clock case, 19th c., surmounted by a sculpture of the Greek philosopher Aristotle, after Henri Picard (French, 1831-1864), reclining with arm resting on plinth and scroll in hand, on green marble top, central enameled dial with Arabic hour markers, dial marked Sessions, framed by foliate grape vine swags, rising on paw feet, dial with crazing and loss to varnish, case only, no movement present, approx 27"h, 26"w, 8"d
