French bronze dore figural mantel clock, 19th c., surmounted by a cavalier on a rearing horse, above white enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked Japy Freres, shaped base with weaponry motifs centering shield plaque, inscribed "Passage du Rhin (Passing the Rhine)," rising on foliate feet, separation to horse's reins, not currently operational, appears to be fully wound, approx 20"h, 18"w, 5.5"d, 24lbs
