French Empire period patinated and gilt bronze mantel clock, early 19th c., figural sculpture of the Greek goddess Psyche, after Antonio Canova (Italian, 1757-1822), figure leaned against arched upper case with open hands, with mounts depicting flaming urn and interlocking foliate wreaths, central engine turned dial with white enamel border, Roman numeral hour markers, unmarked time-and-strike movement, silk thread suspension, rising on stepped platform base, further raised on paw feet, accompanied by key and pendulum, bell inscribed "M.
