French Napoleon III gilt metal mantel clock, 19th c., glass cloche/ dome on ebonized base, enclosing shaped clock case, surmounted with seated painter at his easel, beside dial with enameled Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked Japy Freres, rising on scrolled feet, further raised on scalloped giltwood platform, accompanied by pendulum, broken suspension spring, not currently operational, clock: approx 12"h, 16"w, 5"d, overall: approx 18"h, 19"w, 8.5"d, 20lbs
