French porcelain mantel clock, 19th c., Sevres-style bisque porcelain figural group, The Theft of the Rose (Le Larcin de la Rose), after Louis Simon Boizot (French, 1743-1809), white enamel dial with Arabic numeral hours, signed Cauch...(?), Paris, time-and-strike movement marked Japy et Cie., parcel-gilt and enameled base, on bronze toupie feet, loss to element held in cherub's left arm, typical small chips and losses to flowers, lacking pendulum, not currently operational, approx 17.5"h, 13"w, 6"d, 17.5lbs
