Large Italian polychrome tin-glazed earthenware ewer/ water jug, 20th c., having rolled rim and narrow spout, central painted allegorical scene depicting a winged cherub mounted on lion, in oval cartouche flanked by scrolled foliates, unmarked, approx 17.75"h, 17.5"w, 14"d, 27.5lbs Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023) PLEASE NOTE: Earthenware pottery pieces are inherently fragile.
