English porcelain sweetmeat stand, attributed to Worcester Porcelain Factory, late 18th c., apparently unmarked, having three lobed shell-form basin with blue underglaze, the pierced based modeled as coral, and mounted by applied shells, intact with typical small chips and some minor hairlines, approx 5.75"h, 8.25"w, 7.25"d, 4.5lbs Note: example found in the Chazen Museum of Art Collection (formerly the Elvehjem Museum of Art) online Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
