(lot of 5) French encriers/ inkstands, 19th/ 20th c., highlights include: (1) Sevres-style porcelain, two inkwells with porcelain liners, one rectangular and four circular apertures fitted with gilt-metal bezels, accompanied by a hand seal with vacant circular end, marked B/W within a shield/ made in France, (1) yellow-glazed faience with brass cover, (1) blue and white faience, painted foliate scroll cartouche centering a cherub blowing a trumpet, intact with multiple staple repairs; largest: approx 2"h, 13"l, 6.75"w, 5lbs total Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
