English porcelain three-tiered sweetmeat stand, possibly Worcester Porcelain Factory, late 18th c., apparently unmarked, having seven upturned shell basins, polychrome floral enamel accented by parcel-gilt trim, surmounting naturalistic base with applied shell and coral motifs, tiers intact with typical scattered chips and repair to applied elements, approx 8"h, 10.25"w, 8.5"d, 5.5lbs Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
