French Louis XVI style painted armchair, 20th c., floral crest over the oval medallion back with laurel leaf and beaded molding, padded back, arms and seat upholstered in pink coral-colored silk damask with a Chinoiserie pattern, on tapering fluted legs, approx 38.75"h, 27.5"w, 20.75"d, seat height: approx 18"h Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
