(pair) French Louis XV style carved walnut wingback armchairs/ fauteuils, early 20th c., each having scrolled foliate crest, over padded back and seat in later striped fabric upholstery, rising on cabriole legs, ending on whorl feet, each accompanied by single velvet patterned throw pillow approx 44"h, 33.5"w, 25"d, seat height: approx 17"h Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
