French Louis XV style painted salon settee/ sofa, early 20th c., having scrolled foliate crest, over padded back, armrests, and seat in later floral upholstery, rising on cabriole legs, ending on whorl feet, accompanied by (two) coordinating quilted throw pillows, approx 41.5"h, 70.5"w, 24"d, seat height: approx 16.5"h Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
