French Louis XV style salon settee/ sofa, early 20th c., floral-carved crest, over padded back, arms and serpentine-front seat in later silk upholstery, rising on cabriole legs, accompanied by five (5) coordinating silk and tapestry throw pillows, approx 41.5"h, 77"w, 26"d, seat height: approx 19"h Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
