French Napoleon III period cave a liqueur/ tantalus set, late 19th c., having ebonized hinged case, with Boulle work and scrolled brass inlay, opening to removable cradle fitted with (one) crystal decanter and (eight) matched cordials, accompanied by (four) decanter stoppers, some overall lifting and loss to inlay, small losses and glue repair to cradle, approx 10.5"h, 12.5"w, 9.25"d, 10lbs Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
