(lot of 2) Chinese Canton rose porcelain oval serving platters, each with reserves depicting various figural courtyard scenes, among rose medallions, scrolled foliates, butterflies, and bird motifs, including: (1) having gilt ground, approx 16.5"l, 13"w; (1) having white ground, typical minute rim chips, approx 14.5"l, 12.25"w; 11.5lbs total Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
