(lot of 2) Table box and tantalus set, including: (1) French book-form cave a liqueur/ tantalus set, 20th c., fashioned from stacked and hollowed leather-bound books, including two faux books, each with gilt lettering, hinged lid opening to fitted interior holding (two) decanters with stoppers and (five) matched cordials, marked France underfoot, loss to leather binding at corners, approx 5"h, 8.25"w, 5.75"d; (1) Baroque style molded Syroco table box, having hinged lid with central scalloped rosette, revealing removable sectioned interior tray, rising on fluted base with scrollwork and foliate motifs, approx 3"h, 12.5"w, 9.5"d; 10.5lbs total Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion.
