"The Schermuly Pistol Rocket Apparatus, London", a line throwing pistol, markings include, the aforementioned model on a label applied to the extended barrel top, the left frame marked "crown over GP", "S" "3", the left brass barrel section with "arm and sword over NP" (nitro proof mark", the right frame with serial number "18774", and repeated at barrel lug underside, extended barrel with carry handle, gray paint on extended barrel with scratches and loss, brass barrel and frame with verdigris, wood grips with left grip chipped at butt, action good, for shipping 11" x 20", 2", 5.65lbs (248) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
